Health Tip: Revitalize Your Energy and Well-being

If you’re feeling sluggish, lacking energy, or have lost your zest for life, it might be time to consider whether something is missing in your body. Have you thought about cleansing your body, mind, and spirit through a supervised water or juice fast?

In today’s world, health and safety are top concerns for all of us. That’s why I’m sharing tips on how to create, attain, and maintain Awesome Health during these stressful times!

The Importance of Clean Air

First and foremost, we need clean air to breathe and build strong lungs. Unfortunately, our environment is often filled with smoke and pollution, which affects the air quality even inside our homes. In fact, indoor air quality can be worse than outdoor air. To help purify your indoor air, improve sleep, and eliminate odors, consider adding these houseplants to your home:

  • Spider Plant
  • Snake Plant
  • Aloe Vera
  • English Ivy
  • Dragon Tree
  • Weeping Fig
  • Chinese Evergreen
  • Peace Lily

Super Greens for Strong Immunity

Super greens are essential for building strong immunity, bones, teeth, hair, and nails. They help keep the body energetic and full of vitality by providing the vitamins and minerals necessary to manage stress and cope under difficult situations. Incorporate these greens into your diet:

  • Spinach
  • Romaine Lettuce
  • Kale
  • Beet Greens
  • Arugula
  • Collards
  • Chard
  • Microgreens and all sprouts (e.g., Broccoli, Pea, Radish, Buckwheat, etc.)

Add these super greens to smoothies and juices for an extra boost. Here’s a simple smoothie recipe:

Super Green Smoothie

  • ½ – 1 cup Blueberries
  • ¼ cup Goji Berries
  • Handful of greens (e.g., chard, kale, spinach, romaine, sprouts)
  • 1 tablespoon Chia Seeds (or hemp, sunflower, pumpkin seeds)
  • ½ – 1 cup filtered water

Blend until smooth, sip, and chew thoroughly. Enjoy! For variety, try changing up the berries and fruits.

The Power of Avocados

Given that our soils are often depleted, it’s crucial to include foods that provide extra minerals. Avocados are a powerhouse of nutrients with several amazing benefits:

  1. Stabilizes blood sugar
  2. Prevents cancer
  3. Supports healthy weight management
  4. Provides good fats that benefit LDL and HDL cholesterol levels
  5. Encourages healthy pregnancy and babies with Folic Acid
  6. Improves eyesight with Vitamin E and Beta Carotene, reducing inflammation
  7. Promotes healthy skin and hair

Our health is a gift that we must preserve, especially in these chaotic times. I hope these tips encourage you to focus on health, safety, and building a strong immunity to overcome any fears of disease.
